About Imperial's Garden
Imperial's Garden is a family owned and operated produce company located in Wapato, Washington since 1985.
The Imperial’s began their farming journey in the Philippines growing rice and tobacco to earn a living. In 1983, Mamerto and Antipolo Imperial immigrated to Wapato, WA from Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines with their 3 sons, Marcelo, Melchor, and Manuel, and daughter Virginia. They began working on their relatives farms before starting their own farming business in 1985 with 40 acres of land. In 1990, their oldest brother Marlo joined the family business. Mamerto passed away in 1991 and Antipolo passed away in 1997. The siblings feel that it is important to keep the farming business their father and mother had started, therefore they continue to expand the business. More importantly keeping Imperial's Garden strong keeps the family together.
Currently, Imperial’s Garden is located at 4817 Lateral A. Rd. Wapato, WA and the family farms nearly 1000 acres. They grow a large variety of produce from asparagus in the early spring, to corn in July, and pumpkins in October for the local community and wholesale buyers.
